Brazil offers two free events for less pain, more love

Many readers who responded to a recent article about a sound bath experience shared that life has been particularly challenging lately. For those feeling lonely, down on themselves, or overwhelmed, two free online events are being offered in the coming weeks.

The first is The Power of Love Summit, a free online event running from June 2 through June 8. The summit features conversations with more than 40 leading voices in psychology, spirituality, trauma healing, and conscious relationships. Speakers include Tara Brach, Kristin Neff, Sharon Salzberg, Rick Hanson, Nicole LePera, and the Gottmans.

The event covers a range of topics, including healing emotional wounds, rediscovering inherent worth, cultivating radical self-love, quieting self-doubt, and creating deeper connection in relationships. Other topics include mending family ties, even when facing past hurt or estrangement, and transforming heartbreak into greater strength. Throughout the summit, participants will also experience breathwork, guided meditation, journaling, dance, affirmations, and a sound bath.

Organizers say the summit goes beyond surface-level advice to address the root causes of disconnection and self-doubt. The event covers all dimensions of love, including self-love, romantic partnership, family bonds, friendship, and the role love plays in healing communities.

The second event is The Seven Strengths, a free week-long online event focused on finding calm and steadiness during stressful times. The event starts on May 13. It includes short daily teachings and guided practices designed to help participants feel calmer, less reactive, and more emotionally resilient. The practices aim to help people reconnect with compassion and clarity and build a steadier inner foundation.

The Seven Strengths course features teachers including Rick Hanson, Sharon Salzberg, and Kristin Neff. The course is normally valued at $110, but it is being offered for free as a gesture of support during challenging times. Participants will also receive three bonus gifts when they register.
